Volunteers Plant the Seeds of Kindness
Our first Community Resource Center Volunteer Appreciation Luncheon was held on January 25th. We recognized each volunteer with a certificate and the number of hours they had worked in the Community Resource Center. Combined, the CRC volunteers logged over 1500 hours. We also had some fun door prizes and each volunteer left with a LIVE UNITED t-shirt. Thank you for LIVING UNITED!
The volunteers are helping the resource center to go beyond the immediate emergency help, the provide information on resources for additional needs or concerns the clients may have, like connecting them with counselors for budgeting classes, child care, education or career opportunities and much more.
