Get Ready: Day of Caring 2017 is on Friday, September 15

Join your friends & neighbors for Day of Caring 2017!

The United Way of Greater Williamsburg is planning for Day of Caring 2017 on Friday, September 15. Day of Caring supports local non-profit and public service agencies in the Greater Williamsburg community by linking teams of volunteers to requested improvement projects. More than 600 individuals volunteered in 2016. Projects include landscaping, painting, cleaning, repair, and gardening at more than 30 area non-profits and human service providers. United Way Day of Caring is a Greater Williamsburg tradition and a representation of what it means to LIVE UNITED!

Special thanks to Keith Reagan Film and Video for producing Day of Caring videos!

Donate Materials

Many Day of Caring projects require home and lawn care equipment and tools including paint, brushes, lumber, and cleaning supplies. If you or your company would like to donate materials for our Day of Caring Volunteers to use when completing their projects, please contact Katie Schubert at 757-253-2264.

Kickoff Breakfast

Each year the United Way Day of Caring Committee hosts a kick-off breakfast for all volunteers who are so giving of their time and effort. Look forward to food, volunteer t-shirts, entertainment, and fun! This year the Volunteer Breakfast begins at 7:30 am on September 15. If you or your company would like to offer food or refreshments for the Day of Caring breakfast, please contact Katie Schubert at 757-253-2264.
