SCROLL DOWN FOR PROJECT LIST

The 16th Annual Day of Caring will kick off at 8am at the Historic Jamestowne Island Visitors Center.  The Visitors Center will open it's doors at 7:15a.m. for volunteers to visit and are invited to watch the Jamestown movie at 7:40a.m.  The movie is aprox. 10 minutes long and our kick off rally will begin shortly after the movie ends.  Volunteers are invited to join us for coffee donated by Starbucks and Donuts donated by Krispy Kreme and Dunkin Donuts, mix and mingle with your fellow workers and have your company team picture taken.

T-shirts, sponsored by Anheuser Busch and healthy snacks, sponsored by the Williamsburg Community Health Foundation, will be picked up by volunteer team leaders a few days prior to Day of Caring at the United Way offices so all volunteers can wear their shirts for their team photos.  Companies are encouraged to bring a banner to hold for their photo's.

Volunteers will disburse after the rally, at aprox. 8:30, to head out to their project sites around the community to begin work around 9am.

At 5pm all volunteers are invited back to the Historic Triangle Community Services Center (where the United Way offices are) to celebrate their accomplishments for the day, share with others what they did and enjoy a complimentary dinner and dessert provided by Outback Steakhouse and Ben & Jerry's Ice Cream.
