"United Way . . 365 - 24/7 . . that's what matters."
The United Way of Greater Williamsburg's held it's 4th annual poster contest. Sponsored by Chesapeake Bank, Old Point National Bank, and Bruster’s Ice Cream This project was in coordination with our 2006 15th Annual Day of Caring which was held on September 7, 2006. Poster entries were to show use of the United Way theme "365 - 24/7 . . that's what matters." This can be what matters to the child, their life, something they believe in, anything that matters to them. Our logos could be used on the poster, but this was not a requirement.
K to 4th Grade: First Place - Elisabeth Lowry who won a $100 savings bond from Chesapeake Bank Second Place - Kayla Cooke who won a $50 savings bond from Chesapeake Bank and a Bruster’s Gift Card
Third Place: Kelsey Sluss who won a $50 savings bond from Old Point National Bank 5th to 8th Grade: First Place - Jillian Dowdy who won a $100 savings bond from Chesapeake Bank Second Place - Mary Burkland who won a $50 savings bond from Chesapeake Bank and a Bruster’s Gift Card
Third Place - Hannah Dowdy who won a $50 savings bond from Old Point National Bank
