The United Way of Greater Williamsburg's 3rd annual poster contest.  Entries will be accepted from April 1st through August 11th.

This project is in coordination with our 2005 "Day of Caring" which is to be held on
September 8, 2005.

Posters can be created by children 1st - 8th grade.
All posters will be used on Day of Caring to decorate the entrance way of the thank you celebration/campaign kick off event in the evening.  The first six place posters will be framed and presented to the Day of Caring sponsors.  Remaining posters will be framed and presented to the Pacesetter companies and any additional posters will be used during campaign for awards to businesses to thank them for their support and to help promote the 2005 United Way Campaign. You may even see one or two of them pop up on the cover of the annual report, next years brochure, web page backgrounds, and more! All entries will be used to support the IMPACT United Way has on our community.

Poster entries must show use of the United Way theme "what matters." This can be what matters to the child, their life, something they believe in, anything that matters to them.
Drawings of our logo's can be used on the poster, but this is not a requirement.

The prize awards for the top three winners will be:

$100 savings bond (sponsor not yet determined)
$75 savings bond (sponsor not yet determined)
$50 savings bond (sponsor not yet determined)
Prizes will be awarded to runners up:
$15 gift card to KB Toys
$10 gift card to KB Toys
$5 gift cards to Brusters Ice Cream
Gift Certificates to Coldstone Creamery
