Current Volunteer Opportunities with United Way Community Resource Center:
Receptionists: Our front-line customer service team. Greet customers, answer phones, work with customers to copy paperwork, and in general be the face of the Resource Center.
General Volunteers: special projects, packaging donations for distribution to customers, sort and organize donations, etc.
Guest Coordinators: work with customers on long range goals and plans, work side-by-side with staff to help customers through current crisis or situation, and check-ins with customers on progress towards plans. Those who have worked in the counseling or social worker fields are a perfect fit for this volunteer position.
